The Nero material is made in the USA from eucalyptus paper and thermosetting resins. It is pure black and mimics the finest Madagascar ebony. It is hypoallergenic and not susceptible to humidity or temperature change. The surface is impermeable to sweat and body fluids and therefore very easy to clean.

    In 1976, John Boskovic opened a violin shop in Toronto, serving local professionals, orchestras and schools. In the mid 1980s, he moved his family to rural Ontario, shifting focus to supplying violin shops.
